Betfair Trading Strategy
I seem to purchase on a regular basis from ebay any new Betfair Trading Strategy in the hope of discovering a Betfair Trading Strategy that is the ‘holy grail’ of Betfair Trading Strategies!
Purchasing these Betfair Trading Strategy guides I suppose you could compare it to obtaining a Betfair Trading school type education.
With most Betfair Trading guides, you can like with any other education, glean useful information that you later go on to use. There’s also alot of trial and error involved.
With this in mind and using my usual guide of not purchasing a Betfair Trading Strategy from an ebay seller with less than 100 user feed backs, I yesterday purchased another Betfair Trading Strategy guide from a seller named hanoverowl.
I am yet to receive this Betfair Trading Strategy guide, but when I do, I shall keep a public record of it’s results in regular posts and updates with results.
I look forward to receiving this betting strategy guide, as to call it a Betfair strategy guide may be a little unfair, as it doesn’t mention it being restricted to Betfair users, but I imagine it is usuable on many betting sites.

Sports Trading Diary Entry 8 260312
Daily update of my sports trading progress.
I started sports trading (mainly football matches) on Bet Fair at the beginning of February 2012.
Follow my progress in my daily (almost!) updated sports trading diary entries.
Firstly though, I missed out on a fabulous offer for new sports traders to get a free £25 bet – the first time they start sports trading on Bet Fair. So to make sure you don’t miss out on this wonderful offer;
Claim a risk free £25 free bet at Bet Fair, click Bet Fair £25 bet. Make sure when you join the site, that you use or see the code HU4XE6MTR in the relevant voucher area to get your risk free £25 bet.
If HU4XE6MTR doesn’t show in the relevant box when you are filling in the joining page, you might not get your £25 free bet and that would be a shame to miss eh?
So as far as an update of my daily sports trading diary is concerned for Monday 26th March 2012, it’s been a surreal weekend / start to the week.
I traded like a maniac on Saturday on most of the football matches up until 5pm. I then had a pre-arranged night out with mates, so called it quits.
The image at the top of the page is my Betting Profit and Loss for the 25th of March and the image on the left is what I’ve just taken from BetFair for the 26th March 2012.
I’ve included the Geeks Toy with the time and date and total in each, so there’s an independent reference. I know how some are disbelievers – myself included when I visit sites, it is after all only natural. So all I can say is that on the majority of the posts I have made on the football trading blog so far, I have attempted to include an image with more than two different independent references on it cut and pasted from my browser – even in the really ‘bad’ times a couple of weeks ago!
Anyway, today I went on one of the one day BetFair Trading course run by Bet Angel. The morning part of the course was a freebie and the afternoon part was paid at £59 or so. On the course was a wide variety of sports traders. One of whom had come all the way from Australia to do the course. He arrived on Saturday and is going home on Wednesday – the course actually had another day to it and was running again tomorrow, which I and one other newbie football trader hadn’t booked.
Tomorrow they are learning trading strategies using the Bet Angel trading software, which looked very interesting – I just need to get my head around what’s happened so far with the football trading using the techniques I seem to have discovered off my own steam, before completing the second day of the Bet Angel trading course which covers in-depth various trading strategies at some point in the future.
I’ll do a football trading post on the first part of the Bet Angel course that I have just completed, but for now my head feels like it’s going to explode, I’ve had a long drive in each direction – made even worse by the traffic round the M25 which is no doubt the ‘devil’s own satanic highway’, plus 6 hours of classroom time the likes of which for opportunity has got my mind working over time.
It has all somewhat done me in a bit!
That’s it for this sports trading diary update. I will post again once I have re-charged my batteries and tell you more about the Bet Angel course.

Best Day Football Trading So Far 23/03/2012
It’s late evening / just gone midnight and Saturday is now upon us… Just!
I’m doing this update because Friday 23rd of March 2012 was so far my best day Football Trading by a country mile. Not including the luck on the horses I had during Cheltenham week, which I posted about here; which doesn’t really count as that was down to pure luck on the horses after placing an accumulator on a few tips I’d heard about.
Today I really felt in the zone trading wise. I was doing what I always talk about doing – trading not gambling on the football, looking for 5% of my stake on each trade and exiting as soon as I had it and / or getting out within 5 minutes of entering the trade if the 5% didn’t materialise.
I started the day very badly indeed. I usually include an image in my posts with my current BetFair balance included in it – either direct cut from BetFair or via The Geeks Toy, so I can’t be accused of fibbing.
My BetFair football trading bank balance at the start of the day was £192.56 and the first two trades of the day resulted in losses. I usually trade with stakes of 10% or £10. When you lose and only have a small starting BetFair trading balance, it really hurts!
I thought the day was going to be one of those days… I sat in front of my computer and was between trades, so decided to flick through my rapidly growing old Sports Trading Log‘s, to see if there was something I was doing today that was different and maybe causing the problem.
It was then that I discovered after reading a few really early sports trading logs a strategy that I was using back at the beginning of February 2012. I realised that I hadn’t given this strategy a fair crack of the whip and even worse, hadn’t been using a decent staking plan, so the profits (and potential losses) didn’t make much sense when reading through it.
I decided to give this strategy another go today and blow me, I couldn’t seem to miss! I started trading with £5 stakes as I was unsure about it – I had after all abandoned it back in February and had a niggling feeling as to the reason why. But by my last trade a few moments ago, I had scaled up to £30 stakes in the space of a few hours…
Take a look at the image to the left and you’ll see my BetFair account and The Geek’s Toy interface with time/date and BetFair trading balance.
If you click the image it will open up much larger in a window- but don’t forget to click back on your browser to come back to this post!
You will also see a list of trades from the last couple of hours of today’s trading. I managed to clock up 74 Football Trades in total today… Wowser!
I also on top of the Football Trading had a small amount of success today with two £1 each way accumulators on the horses.
Unfortunately one horse in each accumulator let me down and came second, which is a shame as the payout on the win side of the accumulator would have been fab! But it added another few quid to my BetFair trading balance by doing the same thing I usually do day in and day out on the gee-gees, as I know completely nothing about horse racing!
When messing around with the horse races I usually only bet on accumulators. I go to the multiples section of BetFair, pick Horses and then pick GB. I then go through the meetings and look at the top three horses in each race. If the horse stands out to me for whatever reason above the other two, I add it to my multiple – that’s about it, no science, checking chicken gizzards, which way the wind is blowing or anything like that!
I have used this accumulator method for a while and I seem to get a fair return. A mate told me that I’d be better sticking the £2 on win, instead of splitting it like I do and putting a pound on win and a pound on each way. But I seem to generally at least get my stake back and this bet is just a bit of fun for me.
Anyway, back to the Football Trading… I started Friday the 23rd of March 2012 with a BetFair trading balance of £192.56 and ended it with £428.62! A whopping profit of £236.06… Don’t tell the wife, she’ll want another cut!
I shall obviously be carrying on with the football trading strategy that I have used today and add it to my list of potential trades for each match I look at. Of course it may just have been luck today that the criteria for this strategy was met on a large number of matches; but I’ll keep you posted and fingers crossed that this one is the ‘golden goose’!

Sports Trading Diary Entry 8 230312
Daily update of my sports trading progress.
I started sports trading (mainly football matches) on Bet Fair at the beginning of February 2012.
Follow my progress in my daily (almost!) updated sports trading diary entries.
Firstly though, I missed out on a fabulous offer for new sports traders to get a free £25 bet – the first time they start sports trading on Bet Fair. So to make sure you don’t miss out on this wonderful offer;
It’s been a couple of days since I updated the Sports Trading Diary, although I made a post to this section and gave you access to my Sports Trading Log, which is a spread sheet that you can download and then adjust to meet your needs; to record details of each individual football or sports trade that you get involved in, add notes, etc.
I have also continued to update daily the in-play football coupon, which you can cut and paste the day’s fixtures from into the Sports Trading Log directly – I do this on a daily basis and have the football fixtures in a format that fits the Sports Trading Log perfectly, so it seems a shame for me to waste the time taken to do this and not post it up on here for everyone to use eh?
Anyway, financially I seem to have been treading water since my last post. I think I signed off with £190.31 on Tuesday and today I have £192.56. So a small profit of £2.35 – although I have had a couple of days worth of fun trading in-between, I don’t seem to have much to show for it!
I would have had even less, had I not been extremely lucky with a trade early this morning… I work from home and sometimes the work I do requires me to work odd hours and pull all nighters when the work load is high. Last night / early hours of this morning was one such example of this and as I was working, I was also trading on the football matches being played in South America.
I have a ‘thing’ about the style of play in South America. Football seems to be played at pace and with huge skill in the countries below the equator on the Americas. I particulary have a soft spot for some reason for a team in Mexico called Club de Fútbol Jaguares de Chiapas or The Jaguars in English.
This team has been pretty lucky for me this last few weeks and I seem to have developed a soft spot for them and have been following their games and progress in the Mexican Premier Division… Ahem! I also think it’s funny that they’re sponsored currently by Sol and are the first football team to replace their names on their shirts with their Twitter nicknames!
Anyway, last night (early hours of this morning) I was beavering away on a project and had the live football scores on in the background with an audible alert set, so I would be notified of any goals in any of the matches being played.
The whistle sound alerted me to a player being sent off and I switched screens to see that The Jaguars had had a player sent off in their game against Pachuca CF in the first two minutes of the match. I switched over to BetFair to see if this match was being played ‘live’ in the BetFair live video feed, and sure enough it was; so I reduced the size of the video feed screen so I could have it overlaying the computer screen I was currently working on on my laptop and watch the match whilst I worked.
Now as I said, I have a soft spot for The Jaguars and ten or so minutes after they had a player sent off, they scored a goal. I decided to have a punt on them… Naughty, naughty I know.
Then bugger me ten minutes later they only went and scored a second goal, so I doubled up my initial bet and ended up backing them with £20 to win, expecting to lay it off and trade out once the market settled down for a nice profit.
Anyway, the law of sod comes in to play and for some reason BetFair goes down and I can’t trade out because the dreaded ‘SUSPENDED’ sign appears.
I then start to sweat (and swear) a bit, as I’ve backed a team with ten players, against another team at a similar position in the league who’ve still got 11 players… Of course the law of sod plays out fully and Pachuca CF go on to score a goal late in the first half. So it’s now 2:1 with The Jaguars winning but with ten men and the suspended sign still displaying.
It gets to half time and still no sign of the suspended marker coming off, so I go out to the kitchen for a cup of tea and a smoke to try and relax. When I come back (after longer than expected, but the suspended sign had been on for most of the first half and I’d resigned myself to having to see the match out without being able to trade out) I find that the second half has started and Pachuca CF are going for it big time and still no sign of the Suspended sign coming off.
The Suspended sign finally comes off and I’m trying to trade out, but of course the world and his wife is also trying to trade out as well; then Pachuca CF score an equalizer… Bloody sods law!
What happens next is the most amazing game of football that I’ve had the privilege of watch for a very long time. It would appear that both teams decide that they can win the match and go hell to leather playing attacking end to end football. The Jaguars with ten men against Pachuca CF with eleven. The Jaguars coming very close to taking the lead again but missing a couple of real sitters.
I resign myself to not being able to trade out. The lay figure would give me about 30p and I might as well gamble the 30p as I’ve already lost the lion’s share of my twenty quid. Then at 81 minutes in and with me resigned to losing my £20 The Jaguars take the lead again with a superb goal… The odds stay the same for ages and for some reason I find that I’ve backed them again with another tenner!
I then have a nerve racking few minutes whilst Pachuca CF and the fourth official who gives an extra 4 minutes of added time attempt to conspire against me (and The Jaguars) and equalize again.
Thankfully the gods of BetFair are on my side and The Jaguars manage to see out the rest of the match and give me a nice £23 profit on top of the whole experience.
Would I repeat it again? My head says no, and had it not been for the Suspended sign appearing for some unknown reason I wouldn’t have gone through it the first time. But then again I’d have missed out on the £23 odd profit.
Repeat after me the mantra ‘Trade, Not Gamble. 5% or 5 minutes maximum’
That’s it for this Football Trading Diary update – check the image in the middle of the post for proof of what I’ve written. It’ll enlarge to full size if you click it…

Sports Trading Log
The download link to the spreadsheet I use for keeping track on my daily football trades on Bet Fair can be found by clicking sports trading spread sheet.
If you haven’t yet created a Bet Fair account, make sure you enter code HU4XE6MTR when signing up to claim a free Bet Fair £25 bet.
To see how I use the sports trading log in conjuction with the daily in-play football coupon, carry on reading below!
Pretty soon after starting trading sports online, I realised that I needed to keep a written daily record of my sports trading activity during the day – to ensure that I kept track of the sports trades I was involved in.
As you can imagine, if you’re sports trading on a day with a busy in-play football coupon schedule, the potential sports trade opportunities come thick and fast. If you don’t have a sports trading log to keep track of things, you could easily forget about a sports trade that you’ve left ‘open’, when you should have closed it earlier for a profit.
I have created a sports trading spread sheet, it looks like the image to the left. I use that as my sports trading log to keep track of open trades and profit and loss for each individual sports trade.
The sports trading log has 5 columns going across from left to right that I use to keep track of the various football trading strategies I’m using - I’ve scrubbed out the names of each on the image on the left, as several are experimental football trading strategies and I wouldn’t want to lead you up the garden path with them!
These columns are set to fit perfectly on an A4 piece of paper, so if you want you can print off the sports trading log and use it to hand write results and/or profit and loss for your daily sports trading; or of course you can enter details directly on to it on your computer.
There’s also a column at the far right that I use to enter any comments about the particular sports trade in question.
I then cut and paste the daily in-play football coupon on the left hand side column of the sports trading log, which then lists the teams and the time of kick off. As I create a daily sports trading log I post the football matches that have been included in the Bet Fair in-play football coupon on a daily basis to this page here; Football Fixtures Today.
A daily sports trading log like I’ve shown above is pretty easy to create, you basically then have your sports trading log in front of you and the only other things you need is a pen or pencil and a highlighter pen if you’ve printed off the sports trading log and you’re hand writing the trades that you’re involved in. Of course if you’re not hand writing the trades, you can enter them direct on your computer.

Geeks Toy Affiliate Program
Geeks Toy Affiliate Program
Geeks Toy Affiliate Program is a cheeky little title that I’ve chosen in response to the decision by The Geek to start charging for his wonderful toy.
Currently there’s not an affiliate program connected to the sales of The Geeks Toy, as until yesterday, The Geeks Toy was a free Betfair trading platform that blew other paid versions offered by various companies completely out of the water.
The Geeks Toy was free, now it isn’t. The Geeks Toy was probably the best Betfair trading platform even though it was free, now it is still probably the best even though it’s gone to a paid business model.
But there’s ‘trouble at mill’ over the whole way that the transition of The Geek’s Toy has gone from a free ‘I’m doing this out of the kindness of my heart’ business model, to a ‘you ungrateful scumbags can’t even be bothered to donate a penny, so I’m gonna start charging…’ paid business model.
Now that The Geeks Toy has moved from wonderful free piece of Betfair Trading software magic, to just another paid Betfair trading software; I imagine it won’t be long before The Geek has to add an affiliate program to the wonderful piece of programming that is The Geek’s Toy.
The decision to start charging for the Geeks Toy has got many users and forum members hot under the collar – there’s mixed reaction ranging from the sycophantic, ‘I’d happily give the geek my left testicle, as well as pay for using the toy…’; to the outraged from the home counties view, ‘disgusted, my wife has decided to stop using the internet altogether in protest over this…’!
The problem being with it (and I’m not usually bothered by conspiracy theories), is that over the last couple of weeks The Geek has been muting the fact that he’s been feeling unloved and taken forgranted by users of The Geek’s Toy. Due to this, The Geek set users of the Geek’s Toy and members of The Geek’s Toy forum a task of publicising his fabulous Betfair Trading Software on The Geek’s behalf a couple of weeks back.
Basically users of The Geek’s Toy had a list of targets The Geek had chosen; for mentions of The Geeks Toy on Twitter and Facebook Likes of The Geeks Toy’s Facebook page – as well as getting links and spreading the word about The Geeks Toy by any other means.
Geeks Toy Affiliate Program
The inference was that unless users of The Geek’s Toy started supporting The Geek and his Betfair trading software (hit the targets that The Geek had set for mentions of his toy on these various social media platforms), he would start charging for use of the Betfair trading software at some point in the future.
Now here’s how the conspiracy theory then took potential credence – either The Geek is completely clueless of how the internet works; that by getting all of these likes, links and Twitter followers and mentions on other websites all pointing back to The Geeks Toy, the ‘unfortunate’ and ‘unexpected’ knock on effect, is that The Geek’s Toy will ‘suffer’ a nice little rise in search engine rankings around the keywords that he instructed users of The Geeks Toy to use; or he did know this and that was the plan all along…
Either way, the manner in which it has been managed has upset many users. Many users of The Geeks Toy are feeling duped into helping promote a product on the belief that by doing so it would remain free, that then went paid anyway.
I myself posted a question in The Geeks Toy forum asking whether now the Geeks Toy was a paid Betfair trading platform, consideration had been given about launching an affiliate program. The image accompanying this post about Geeks Toy Affiliate Program is a cut and paste from Google of it’s index, recording the existence of the short life of this forum post – unfortunately it was deleted for some reason from The Geeks Toy forum, after receiving a reply from The Geek that they currently aren’t considering an affiliate program for The Geeks Toy.
I don’t think my forum post asking whether an affiliate program for the Geeks Toy was being considered was offensive. But unfortunately my forum post asking about an affiliate program for The Geeks Toy was removed. It did I think start some decent discussion about the prospect of adding an affiliate program to the Geeks Toy. Although a few of the posts highlighted in my opinion the vast gulf between people who use the internet for ‘fun’ and those who earn a living from the internet… I shall explain;
You see, whilst I may not have much experience with trading sports on Betfair, online marketing is what I do and have been doing for over ten years. I work from home, my job description could be that of ‘online marketer’. The reason I am able to work from home is that in 2004, I along with three other mates launched a now fairly well known online dating site.
This online dating site – like The Geeks Toy, initially and intentionally was operated around a ‘free’ business model. We built up a huge member list, then after about a year went from being a free dating site, to being a paid dating site. I eventually sold my share interest in this online dating site in 2007, which has allowed me to ‘work’ from home ever since.
I have done similar to the above with several other sites that I either own or have / had a share interest in over the last ten years. I currently have a ‘stable’ (that seems about the right word as we are talking about sports trading and horse racing is a big part of that for some users of The Geeks Toy) of over 100 websites operating in a variety of niches. None of these sites apart from this one are in the sports trading niche.
My Football Trading website / blog is just a hobby site for me. Whilst I suppose for someone working in the field that I do, no site can really be described as a hobby site. So admittedly I do SEO it, I do consider the titles of the posts I use, I consider the wording of those posts, and the keywords used… So yes in effect my football trading site is a little more than a usual hobby site that someone without my online experience would create - but actually football trading is what I do in my down time, not what I do for a living.
The problem that The Geeks Toy now faces going from the free business model to the paid business model is that it is completely different. The two cannot be compared. Free means that people cut you some slack, they are grateful. They can’t understand why you’ve done it, so they are extremely grateful! They are in some cases completely sychopantic and ooze love for you in their forum posts and defend you to the hilt if anyone (not me I love the Geeks Toy) should ever say a bad word about it.
They will give you their time and become forum moderators; they may donate some money. They will definitely tell their friends, they may well jump in and help you promote the site in some way, they will be open to the suggestion of adding a Twitter post and liking your Facebook page. They may even (as I have done) include a link to your site in every Football Trading post they have made since discovering your wonderful toy!
But when a product goes from being free to paid, the main difference that users demand is SERVICE. If there’s no service, then you don’t earn any money, or you stop making sales. The other difference is that you will probably now need to employ staff to cope with the hundreds of enquiries you will now get… Stupid questions that could be ignored when you offered a free service, now have to be answered because people have trumped up a few quid and demand service!
As I mentioned on my forum post about the suggestion of launching an affiliate program for the Geeks Toy; once you become a paid service site, no matter what that service is, and no matter how good your service / product is, webmasters who earn a living from their website will expect to receive a revenue share from any referrals / sales made to the site in question directly from their own site. If you charge for something, you have to share the revenue in some way in order to get website traffic.
Now here’s the rub… As a free piece of software, The Geeks Toy beat all competitors hands down. It was as least as good as the paid alternatives and it was free. Webmasters who earn a living from their websites will promote a product that is free and is good, as it adds ‘value’ to their site and their site visitors. As soon as something goes from free to paid, that partnership finishes. Human nature and good business sense (for those managing websites for a living) dictates that any link from their site to another must provide value / revenue in some way to them and their site visitors.
As soon as a free product goes to the paid business model, that goodwill from professional webmaster finishes. The product now has to stand up alongside others in it’s niche that charge in some manner. If you are a webmaster operating a site for profit in the sports trading niche, it therefore stands to reason that you will only link to sites that pay you a revenue share or add value for your site users.
It matters not to the webmaster of the sports trading website whether one product is better than another in the ‘paid environment’. Of course they will measure conversion rates on a profit to click through basis, but that’s about it. Generally they don’t care which is ‘best’. Best to them means the one that has the higher conversion rate and earns them the most money.
This unfortunately is lost on some of the sycophantic members of The Geeks Toy forum. One responded to my forum post along the lines of; ‘…forum members aren’t in this for profit and how could you decide to not tell someone about The Geeks Toy just because you don’t get a financial reward?’ DUH! Now that The Geek himself is in this for profit (and who can blame him, his product is excellent!) it changes everything.
Look at this from a real world analogy if you have trouble understanding it in the online world;
You own a shop, you stock products, you sell those products to customers, you make a profit. But in order to get the customers in some way you have to advertise and therefore in some way you ‘share’ some of the profit you make with the people / companies that you advertise your shop with. Radio, newspapers, tv etc.
Now from an online perspective;
You own a website, you sell a product / provide a service that you charge for, you make a profit. In order to get customers / website visitors you have to advertise your website in some way. Affiliate programs through which you encourage owners of websites in related niches to join and link to your site is just one way that online advertising works. You share a percentage of the profit from sales of your product / service with the owners of the sites that send you visitors who then convert in to paying customers.
Conversely, this is why most sites have a ‘tell a friend’ function or have a forum that tries to build a helpful community around the product in question, or in fact use any other method to drum up site visitors for free; facebook pages, twitter, link building etc. Website owners don’t have to pay for traffic generated using these mediums.
The tell a friend function allows people to auto email their friend list to tell them about the product in question. Of course owners of the sites want you to use this function, they get more users for nothing and a personal recommendation is much better than being sent to a site from another site – the conversion from personal recommendation far out strips that of any other means of advertising both on and off line.
From a forum perspective; a site has forum members, those members post comments / questions and create new threads in the forums. Forum posts in effect build massive amounts of search-able content on the site in question – forums are a great easy way to add content to your site whatever the niche.
Forum posts get indexed by the search engines, users of the search engines search on a specific term / keyword, the search engines deliver result listings that include these forum posts - because they are keyword specific to the search engine users search. The search engine user clicks the link and finds the forum, the search engine user joins the forum, likes the community and then buys the product.
I’m sorry if the above has completely blown away your feelings and belief about the internet being a lovey-dovey community of people wanting to help and do good… Get real and smell the coffee! Something is usually only free as part of a long term goal.
The long term goal could be a variety of things, build a big community and then charge advertisers to advertise to that community in some manner, or advertise affiliate programs and make money from products existing in the niche already, or once it’s reached the predetermined level, sell the site as a going concern to some other business, or once the site has reached a predetermined level (we call it critical mass in the heady world of online marketing) you make the product in question a PAID product!
But as an example, at the beginning of the year, knowing nothing about sports trading, I really had to dig deep in the search results to find The Geeks Toy. Even though it is probably the best and easiest to use Betfair trading platform out there.
Most of the main trafficked sites in the sports trading niche already weren’t linking to the toy as there wasn’t a financial reward. These sites of course linked to other Betfair trading platforms because they got a revenue share from the trading platform in question. This problem will now continue and in fact get worse unless an affiliate program for The Geeks Toy is added. Mark my words…
The internet is all about visitors to sites. A site selling a product in any niche only has two options (apart from Tell A Friend and having a forum) to get traffic to their site; one do it all the SEO online marketing themselves and / or pay for search engine listings and advertise on related sites, or two do the above and run an affiliate program alongside it.
Affiliate programs are good because the owner of the site only pays on results. The other main methods of advertising a site all cost money /or time if doing SEO yourself and cost up front – no matter what the result. The owner of the site therefore has to measure the value of any advertising that they are doing and keep a close eye on their advertising spend’s return of investment.
With an affiliate program, you don’t really have to keep an eye on anything. You usually pay the affiliate a month in arrears and only once a specified payment threshold has been met. The deck is stacked in favour of the site that operates the affiliate program, not in favour of the affiliate. The affiliate has to work hard for their money and often the affiliate program owner in time comes to resent paying these dastardly affiliates… Even though they are actually getting a much better return from them than from any other advertising medium.
No matter how well intentioned current users of The Geeks Toy are and how happy they are with the product, even if they introduce every one they know to The Geeks Toy, the traffic won’t be enough and The Geek will have to consider adding an affiliate program to the Geeks Toy, or advertising the product in some other manner and ‘sharing the profit’ now it has gone to the paid business model.
To be honest though I don’t particularly care either way. The Geeks Toy is a great trading platform and at the price that it’s been set at, it is completely affordable by most people – there’s still a free trial for users who are new to The Geek’s Toy. Use the Geeks Toy and find out for yourself.
However… I’m not stupid and have a fairly huge monthly hosting bill for my various web sites; so as soon as The Geeks Toy launches an affiliate program, I will join it and happily continue to recommend it to people, whilst taking a revenue share (which is rightfully mine now the service is a paid one) for my introductions of new members to the Geeks Toy… I am after all only human!
