Why can't South Africa produce a great striker?

South Africa has long failed to produce a great striker in the international soccer arena. Despite having a large population of soccer players and a growing professional league, South Africa has struggled to develop a striker who can compete on a global level. This has been attributed to a lack of investment in youth development and coaching, as well as a lack of access to high-level competition. Furthermore, South African strikers often lack the physicality and technical ability to be successful at the highest level. In order to address this issue, South Africa must invest in youth development and create more opportunities for talented players to compete at a higher level.
